Free antivirus software is available from the University while you are a student

VPN software once installed will allow access to University resources such as those provided by the library. This is especially useful for when you need to work from home during vacation and you need to access services and resources, for more. Please be aware that using the VPN client while illegally downloading / sharing material in breach of its copyright can lead to a fine.

OneDrive is a Microsoft cloud storage service which can be accessed via either a personal Microsoft account or via your University single sign on account. The University provided storage space is 5tb, please see the University’s OneDrive FAQs before you decide whether or not it is suitable for you usage. Researchers also be aware of the data security aspect of cloud storage with personal information.
